Coarse Maintenance - Rough Cutting

The first phase of cutting back the heavy rough on our links will commence in the week starting January 23rd 2017 and will last for five days max.

This work is the commencement of necessary coarse improvements that have been identified and prioritised by the members.

There will naturally be some disruption to play and to enable a speedy completion of the work, we ask all members to be patient and most of all to respect the work and those that are operating the machinery.

In the weeks following , the areas that have been cut will be sprayed with a treatment that will greatly kill off/ reduce the growth of weeds and broad -leafed grasses, while at the same time leaving the fescue grass undamaged and a semi-rough that is natural to links courses.
